Stargazed

For the past three evenings I have been mesmerized by astronomy and science. BBC threw a three part Stargazing Live TV event on three concecutive nights and I have enjoyed it immensly. It was hosted by my fave rock star physicist prof Brian Cox and comedian Dara O'Briain, and there were few laughs along the way.

The major geeking up the science has been most interesting, but still not quite interesting enough for me to rush to buy a telescope or hang out on a field on a cold dark night waiting for a meteor shower. No doubt that it would be spectacular to see but I have to leave it to more devoted crowd.

Beautiful Andromeda galaxy, our nearest large neighbor galaxy

I do hope that we can get to Mars one day and I hope we get plenty more programmes here on Earth like this series. Good stuff!
