This week in the news it has been men behaving badly galore. Here is my opinion of two of the most discusting ones.
The IMF dude has been jailed and denied bail in New York for an attack on a woman that they actually can actually prove. But as always, more women come out to media with sad stories of having had to yield in a "casting couch" manner to further their careers. Then there are the prossies, etc etc....
He seems to be sorry, well at least for that he was caught. Once again a man in a powerful position who thinks he can treat women as he pleases. Surprised? …unfortunately not.
Then there is the right (but not really) honourable Justice Secretary in this country who said that not all rapes are serious and if the perp says sorry in court and admits their guilt their sentences get halved.
On which f*!$ing reality/planet does he live on??? He then had to back pedal in the media and stated that he will in the future "choose my words more carefully".
You can do that Kenneth, but the damage is already done as you have just managed to belittle most if not all rape victims (of both sexes). He "looks" sorry too but most likely is not but has to appear to be.
I am sure this will evoke a much needed conversation, but it won’t change the fact that some men sadly still live in the year of the pond life in their attitudes.
So nothing changes and life goes on. But it is Friday and I will have a drink or too with my dinner.
